Community Facility District Report
On September 24, 2014, the state of California Governor signed AB 2109 (State Parcel Tax Reporting) into law, an act to add Section 12463.2 to the Government Code (chapter 781, statute 2014). Under this bill, local government agencies (counties, cities, and special districts) are to report information relating to the imposition of assessed parcel tax to the State Controller’s Office. Annually, the City of Brawley submits the Parcel Tax Reporting Statistical data related to the City’s various Community Facility Districts (CFDs) to the State Controller’s Office.
