Brawley, CA—The City of Brawley City Council voted unanimously to adopt its Fiscal Year 24/25 budget (starting July 1, 2024 and concluding on June 30, 2025). The citywide budget establishes a budget of $64.4 million in expenditures, funded by $57.9 million in expected revenue. The General Fund Operating Budget reflects a $237,433 deficit that will be funded by City reserve funds to focus on funding critical City priorities like police, fire and street improvements.
