The Work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and contract documents. The Main Street Water Pipeline and Paving Improvement Project includes the replacement of existing water pipelines along Main Street from Highway 86/First Street to Eastern Avenue. Existing 6-inch and 8-inch cast iron water pipelines along Main Street are to be replaced with a new parallel 12-inch AWWA C-900, DR18 PVC water pipeline; except at the intersection of Highway 86/First Street and Main Street. At the Highway 86/First Street and Main Street intersection existing 12-inch and 16-inch cast iron water pipelines are to be replaced with new 12-inch and 16-inch AWWA C-900, DR18 and AWWA C-905, DR18 PVC pipelines.

It is intended that the work be completed in every respect under the Contract, and such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract documents shall be furnished, performed, placed, constructed, or installed by the Contractor.

The Work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and contract documents. The City of Brawley Main Street A.C. pavement Section between First Street/Highway 86 to Ninth Street is in poor condition. Main Street is 70 feet wide and includes two (2) eastbound traffic lanes, two (2) westbound traffic lanes, and parking lanes on the north and south sides of Main Street. The A.C. improvements include cold planing the existing A.C. pavement surface, crack sealing the cold planed A.C. pavement surface, placing an A.C. leveling course over the crack-sealed cold planed pavement surface, installing an asphalt geosynthetic interlayer over the A.C. leveling course and placing an Asphalt Rubber Hot Mix (ARHM) A.C. pavement top course over the asphalt geosynthetic interlayer. Traffic striping and raising of utility manholes and valve risers and covers are to be accomplished after the ARHM pavement top course is installed.

It is intended that the work be completed in every respect under the Contract, and such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract documents shall be furnished, performed, placed, constructed, or installed by the Contractor.
